Reserve Bank of Australia to release minutes of interest rate meeting

NEW YORK (Forex News Now) – The Reserve Bank of Australia is due to release minutes overnight of its latest monetary policy meeting.

The minutes are not expected to contain anything too dramatic, given that the bank kept the interest rate at 4.75% at the meeting two weeks ago.

The bank is scheduled to release the report at 12:30 A.M., GMT, on Tuesday morning; as such it should affect Aussie dollar currency market trading the same day.

However, trading should also be affected by the release around an hour earlier of the latest Conference Board’s Leading Index data, which shows the change in the level of a composite index based on seven key economic indicators.
