The main product offered by Janrain is the Identity Cloud. This platform provides real-time identity management tools which allow companies to offer more seamless experience to their customers. The clients are provided with a Janrain Console, which enables them to configure settings, manage data and users and even use add-ons all in one location. The platform has registration solutions, that have customizable data collection forms, password management and account creation processes. User authentication is also within the purview of the company’s services. “The Janrain Identity Cloud gives you sophisticated credential management and multiple authentication options. Janrain allows your site to become a custom OpenID Identification Provider using your existing authentication framework,” – says the company. The customers can use social media or other third party credentials as well as the existing credentials for authentication.
The platform also has fraud management capabilities. It assigns a fraud score to each customer based on data obtained from different sources including phone number intelligence and global information services. Furthermore, the platform analyzes customer behavior by looking at traffic patterns. Based on what number the customer is assigned, the client has capabilities to block them or require reauthentication.
