ForexNewsNow – Popular forex broker AvaFX recently rebranded to AvaTrade. The company revealed that the rebranding was necessary due to the fact that the company switched from being a simple forex broker to being a provider of multiple types of financial trading services such as commodities, indices and even Bitcoin trading.
AvaFX Becomes AvaTrade
As said above, a few months ago leading forex broker AvaFX rebranded itself as AvaTrade due to the fact that the company in the recent past became a provider of different types of financial services than just forex. The rebranding came with a new website design and the launch of multiple new trading platforms.
Platform Look and Functionality
At this moment the new AvaTrade gives traders the possibility to trade on a total number of 10 platforms. The most important platform of this kind is the proprietary Ava Trader platform. This is the platform with the most features and tools and in our opinion the most elegant interface. It contains multiple advanced features such as automatic trading, trade from charts and single screen trading.
Another tool is the classic MetaTrader 4 platform that is extremely useful for traders who do not wish to learn new platforms and systems. The MT4 platform is one of the most popular trading platforms on the web and was designed to be used by both newcomers and experts alike. A third platform is the MetaTrader 4 Floating Spreads platform.
This is followed by four auto-trader platforms, which are the classic Mirror Trader, ZuluTrade, Currencies as well as the possibility to connect traders’ own platform to AvaTrade’s API Trading function. These platforms give traders the possibility to automatically copy the actions performed by experts.
Yet another platform on the list is the Web Trader that allows traders to access all of the services offered by the company right from their web browsers without the need of downloading and installing any platform or app. And the last one is the Mac Trading platform that allows traders to connect to AvaTrade from a Mac computer as well.
As explained above, the company was originally a classic forex broker only. As such, even today the majority of the assets available are forex currency pairs. At this moment there are more than 60 individual forex currency pairs being offered by the broker, making it possible for traders to form complex strategies.
Apart from forex pairs, traders also have the opportunity to trade on other assets as well such as gold and other metals, multiple popular indices, and various other natural or agricultural resources.
Newest Trading Mode – Bitcoins
Since the rebranding, the broker became also one of the few providers of Bitcoin trading services. AvaTrade users are able to trade on the USD/Bitcoin exchange rate much like they can do in the case of traditional forex currency pairs.
The Bitcoin exchange offered by the broker is open 24/5. Traders can get as much as $5,000 free bonus in order to try out the company’s new Bitcoin trading mode. Trading on Bitcoins is possible using the MetaTrader 4 as well as the AvaTrader platforms.
Bonuses and Promotions
Each newly registering trader is entitled to receive an initial deposit bonus. The amount of the received bonus money will depend on the initial deposit amount. The bonus money that can be claimed ranges from as low as just $50 to as high as $5,000.
In order to get the lowest bonus, the $50, traders will have to deposit at least $100. The next tier is a bonus of $100 that is awarded on a deposit of $300. This is followed by a free bonus of $200, which is awarded on a deposit of at least $1,000. This goes all the way up to the last tier, which offers a bonus of $5,000 awarded on a deposit of at least $100,000.
Deposits and Withdrawals
AvaTrade offers traders the possibility to make deposits with multiple tools such as credit cards, wire transfer and various e-wallets. The minimum deposit amount is of USD/EUR 100. The minimum wire transfer deposit is USD/EUR 500.
Withdrawals can only be carried out to the same payment processor account that was used during the depositing process. In case of credit or debit cards it’s only possible to withdraw the same amount of money that was deposited. The difference will have to be withdrawn through wire transfer.
Languages and Regulation
At this moment the services offered by the company are available in a total of 11 languages including English, German, Russian, Spanish, Italian, French, Chinese and others. The broker is also regulated in multiple countries across the globe.
