Hertha Berlin is Getting Friendly with EuropeFX

As you know the 2018-19 football season is something nearly everybody is looking forward to. Looks like not only the fans will be waiting for their favorite teams to come on the fields and play. Large Forex companies like Cy-SEC regulated Forex broker EuropeFX is also very excited about the season. So excited in fact that it has made a new sponsorship deal with the German Bundesliga football club Hertha Berlin. With this sponsorship, EuropeFX will be getting quite a lot of brand exposure and daylight in the picture of sport and entertainment.

Joint digital campaigns and official club advertising materials were the promises of the agreement broker Lagardère Sports when it helped the two sides come together and sign the contract. The Cyprus based broker really needed to show a lot more face within the mainland EU therefore, sponsoring a team within the very heart of Europe will be most beneficial for them. Hertha Berlin will be receiving numerous benefits from its new premium partner and in return will just have their name correlated with theirs.

Forex brokers signing deals the football clubs is not that new actually, the trend started when eToro signed a partnership with Eintracht Frankfurt, also a German football team, just two months ago. The reasoning behind this was the large amount of eToros’ customer base being German, the second largest group to be exact.

Forex and Football is a good mix?

It may be hard to understand what these two completely different industries have in common besides having the same first letter in their names, but sponsorship deals and agreements have always been a way for noncorrelated brands to be more visible for the unconventional customer. Think of car racing, or the completely new eSports industry, where basically all the revenue is coming through sponsorships and ads.

The sponsorship was highlighted by Michael Landsberger, who is the General Manager of EuropeFX in Germany. He said that the partnership with Hertha Berlin is a major step towards expanding their customer base and offering knowledge about the Forex market to the fans of football, giving them opportunities on the market and generally spreading the message. He also added that Hertha BSC has the same values and are perfect as partners.
